CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill High School will not field a varsity football team this fall due to a lack of participation, according to a release from Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools.
According to the school system, there were not many upperclassmen who came out for the football team. However, the junior varsity football team will compete as scheduled.
