Man crosses state of Florida on a lawnmower for a Habitat for Humanity!

Florida resident Chip Hawthorne recently drove his Toro Z Master 4000 lawnmower across the Sunshine State to raise money for the West Orange Habitat for Humanity..

Chip, works at Main Street Mower in Winter Garden, FL. so he knew the best ride for the job and on April 8 he started out at 4 a.m. at a top speed of 12 miles per hour.

He hosted an online video feed of his journey. It took 13 hours and 45 minutes to go 130 miles.

He raised more than $12,000 in donations along the way. He looks like a fun guy to hang out with! (See video below)
