BOBBY CMA FEST

Bobby Bones was added on to guest host the CMA Festival Special that will air on ABC on August 4th. He special guest hosted alongside Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini. Between the three of them, they introduced several massive country artists and did interviews for the special country music fans don't want to miss.

During his time at Nissan Stadium, where the festival and filming took place, Bones had some awesome encounters, including one with the famous Lil Nas X. He also ran into some of his country music friends including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Dierks Bentley, Brooks and Dunn, and many more. Here are some of his highlighting moments, and listen above as he talks about it on The Bobby Bones Show.

Lil Nas X came into Bobby's dressing room after his surprise performance with Billy Ray Cyrus and Keith Urban. He recognized Bobby for sticking up for him when all of the controversy over "Old Town Road" had just started and Bones addressed it on Good Morning America.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill stopped by to talk with Bobby before his performance closing out Saturday night of the festival. McGraw gave Bobby a copy of his new book and invited him to see a show with the book in New York.

Brooks and Dunn were in the stadium for a surprise appearance with Brothers Osborne and Bobby talked with them for one of the interview's set to air on the ABC special.
