Talking Wake Forest Basketball with Coach Manning

It's hard to believe that another college basketball season is upon us!  But here it is, and this Saturday at the LJVM, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will take on NC A&T.  It's a 2pm game, and you can get tickets by calling the Wake Forest ticket office at 888-758-DEAC (3322) or online at wakeforestsports.com.

Coach Danny Manning is back for another great year, which will be his fifth season coaching the Deacs.  Prior to his time at Wake, he spent 15 years in the NBA, was the 10th all-time leading scorer in NCAA history during his time at Kansas, and played high school basketball right here in the Triad at Page High School in Greensboro.

Coach Manning took a few minutes to call in to chat about the home opener, which is "Farewell to 40 Day," and there will be celebrations for our Veterans in honor of Veteran's Day... in fact, Vets and active duty military personnel and their immediate families will get in free!  Plus, Coach Manning talks about his team, his returning players, and his recruits.  Here our full conversation here...
