Pop quiz... what do Michael Ray and Jimmie Allen have in common? Well, now that I think about it, they probably have several things in common! But I was going for the fact that they both got started as iHeartCountry On The Verge artists and they are going to be touring together! They are teaming up on the 18th annual "CMT On Tour" tour, and it will kick off right here in the Triad with Q104.1 on October 17th at Cone Denim Entertainment Center in Downtown Greensboro!
You first heard Michael as an iHeartCountry On The Verge artist with his debut song "Kiss You In the Morning." Since then, Michael has released several other songs, including "Think A Little Less" and "One That Got Away." Michael has a brand new song out that you can hear on Q104.1 called "Her World Or Mine." Jimmie was also an iHeartCountry On The Verge artist with his debut song "Best Shot." He also has a brand new song out called "Make Me Want To" that you can hear here on Q104.1, and the video is also below.
Joining them will be a brand new band called Walker County. Tickets to the Cone Denim show- and the entire CMT On Tour- will go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
