According to a list compiled by Cheapism, the "most scenic highway drive" in all of North Carolina is the Blue Ridge Parkway. This roadway in winding through North Carolina highlights the beauty of the surrounding nature, with hundreds of "scenic" spots sure to take your breath away.

"Including stretches through Virginia and North Carolina, the famous Blue Ridge Parkway boasts almost 300 scenic overlooks of the Appalachian Highlands, waterfalls, and other natural wonders along its 469-mile path.
