Maddie Font shared throwback photos to her wedding day as she posted a heartfelt anniversary tribute to her husband, Jonah Font.
The Maddie & Tae artist, who is half of the duo with partner and best friend Taylor Kerr, is celebrating five years “with my favorite person,” she wrote in her caption on Instagram on Friday (November 22). “Happy anniversary my love [Jonah Font]. We are like fine wine baby, just get better with time ❤️”
Maddie and Jonah started dating as teens. The Fonts got engaged in May 2018, and got married in November 2019 in Arlington, Tennessee. Maddie, now 29, told PEOPLE when she got married that it’s “funny to think [back] to being 15-year-old kids in love and to see how our love has grown over the years. Getting married was always a goal of ours, and this year just felt right.”
The Fonts have since welcomed Baby No. 1 together. Son Forrest Henry Font was born on September 9, 2023. Maddie said at that time that “Forrest is everything Jonah and I could’ve ever dreamed of… We are so in love 🤍” She shared adorable photos to celebrate his first birthday earlier this year. This week, Maddie attended the 58th CMA Awards solo as duo partner Kerr stayed with her newborn Baby No. 2. Kerr and her husband, Josh Kerr, welcomed son Chapel Shields Kerr on October 29. He joins big sister Leighton Grace Kerr, arrived in January 2022.
