A lucky North Carolina man is "tickled to death" after scoring a $10 million lottery prize.

Christopher Sink, of Winston-Salem, stopped by the KP Food Mart on Old Thomasville Road last week where he followed his intuition and picked up a $50 scratch-off ticket for the $10 Million Spectacular game, according to a release from the NC Education Lottery. That move landed him one of the game's top prizes.

"Sometimes you have a gut feeling," he said. "It just happened to be my lucky day."

This isn't even the first time Sink has won a large prize. His latest win comes about a week after scoring big on another ticket.

"I actually won $10,000 last week on a different ticket," he said. "It's kind of hard to fathom."

Sink claimed his prize at lottery headquarters on Thursday (June 26), where he had the choice to receive his win as either an annuity of $500,000 per year over the course of 20 years or as a one time, lump sum payment of $6 million. He chose the latter and ended up taking home $4,305,014 after all required state and federal tax withholdings. He told lottery officials he plans to invest some of his winnings as well as pay bills and buy equipment for his construction business.
